Linda Diefendorff is a business consultant who specializes in organizational and leadership development, process improvement, and change management. She has a unique talent to pinpoint what it is about an organization’s culture that makes them successful in their market, and helps them realign their employees and processes so they will shine.
Linda’s experience comes from consulting with more than 75 companies in many industries, including education, financial services, government, healthcare, manufacturing, nonprofit, and retail.
In 2008, Linda opened the doors of Brio Performance Solutions to share her expertise with organizations who want to enhance their leadership skills, are dealing with a major change, or are trying to think differently about how they do business. She has the ability to quickly understand a client’s business and challenges, and the skill to develop impactful solutions that are practical and successful.
Linda is a national speaker and has presented at conferences held by organizations such as The Conference Board, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and the Association of Change Management Professionals on topics such as change management and the virtual workforce. She is the past facilitator for Akron’s Torchbearers Learning & Development program and taught workshops through Kent State University’s Center for Corporate and Professional Development. Linda is an alum of Leadership Baton Rouge, Torchbearers, and Leadership Akron (Crew 32). She has also volunteered on multiple community boards, including having served as the Board President for the Battered Woman’s Shelter of Summit and Medina Counties and Summit Artspace.
Linda is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Society for Human Resource Management. She holds an M.A. in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology from The University of Akron and a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Business from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. She is also certified in Prosci’s change management methodology, Change Intelligence® and in Human Resources (SPHR). Her previous employers include Tier1 Performance Solutions, Western Union, SSA Consultants, and Accenture.
Linda lives in the Akron area with her husband and two dogs. She has two adult children and in her spare time she enjoys reading, biking, walking and traveling.
